I just used Green Fields for some landscaping work and from start to finish they were fantastic. Michael came to quote the work and Rohan installed my plants. Wonderful interaction and experience. I definitely would recommend and use again. Excellent work, reliable and satisfied customer.

Our first time at Green Fields Nursery was fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we were treated to incredibly personalized help. The knowledgeable staff took the time to understand our project and recommended the perfect plants, truly showing they care about their customers' success. Before and after pictures added. We loved the roses, the Sky Pencil Japanese Holly, the beautiful hanging Fucsias and all the herbs. You are now our nursery! Gracias, Peter and your wonderful staff".

This nursery had a wide variety of indoor and outdoor plants. I wanted tomato seedlings and they had so many different kinds! I purchased 3 different tomato plants, and 2 herbs. Also, very nice service. The people working there are personable and very helpful. As a first time Gardner, the advice given was very valuable and extremely helpful. They weren't condescending or snippy (like big box stores) and answered all of my questions graciously. I was met in the parking lot with my heavy purchase and they put it directly in my car. I will definitely shop there for my future gardening needs.

Under Lou’s guidance, Green Fields continued to thrive and expanded into a successful residential and commercial landscaping business. Lou was especially known for his work in growing and hybridizing daylilies for sale at the nursery. In 1986, Green Fields was purchased by Jim McElroy and his father-in-law, Jerry Dobbyn—marking the beginning of a period of immense growth and transformation. General Manager Peter Bieneman joined in 1988, bringing deep botanical knowledge and enthusiasm that quickly made an impact. In 2001, he earned a Masters of Landscape Architecture. We visited Green Fields Nursery today to buy some indoor plants, specifically oxygen‑producing plants and succulents. The selection was excellent we found everything we wanted, including a snake plant, spider plant, pothos, hens and chicks, and calibrachoa. The plants were healthy, well cared for, and priced very reasonably for their quality. We also picked up garden soil potting mix for indoor plants, which was exactly what we needed. The staff were helpful, and the overall shopping experience was great. We’re really happy with our purchase and will definitely visit again soon for more plants! 🌿
